I was browsing the wine shelves at Trader Joes in Reston, Virginia the other day (5 July 2009) and was pleased to chance upon bottles of Tesoro Amontillado for sale, priced at only 5 bucks a bottle mind you. I bought a case! I excitedly proclaimed to the clerk, “The Amontillado, the Amontillado, surely you jest!” He chuckled but looked confused. Unfortunately he didn’t get it.
